Heat made to measure – even for those who do not like it hot.

The bio sauna combines heat and humidity: the temperature is lower than in the Finnish sauna and the air more humid, so the heat is softer and easier to breathe.

That makes it a good choice for a first sauna, for older guests and for anyone who finds the Finnish sauna too hot. Thanks to the gentler heat you can stay a little longer – but leave as soon as it becomes uncomfortable.

The bio sauna and the steam bath are also part of the birthday spa party, where children, under supervision, get to know sauna bathing and breathing exercises.

Tips

How to use the sauna

  1. Shower first

Before you first go in, take a shower and dry yourself well – dry skin warms up faster and sweats more easily.

  2. Warm up

Sit or lie on a towel and stay for eight to fifteen minutes – or less, as soon as it becomes uncomfortable. Heat is not something to endure.

  3. Cool down

Breathe in some fresh air, then cool down gradually under the cooling shower, from your feet towards your heart.

  4. Rest

Rest for at least as long as you were in the sauna, and drink water or tea. Two to three rounds are quite enough.

Do not use the sauna straight after a heavy meal or with alcohol. If you have health problems – especially with your heart or blood pressure – or are pregnant, consult your doctor before using the sauna.
