We are delighted that you are interested in our website and our products. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below we give you detailed information on how your data is handled on our website.
Collection, processing and use of personal data

- the name of your internet service provider

- the names of the files requested
This data is collected solely to improve our offer and does not allow us to identify you personally.
We collect, store and process your data to handle your order and for any subsequent warranty and advertising purposes. This includes, for example, your name, email address, home address, telephone number and all the data in our system that you provided when ordering products. We collect personal data only when you provide it voluntarily when opening a customer account or registering to receive news. After you register to receive news, we will use your email address for our own advertising until you unsubscribe from the mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We pass this data on to third parties only within the limits of the law and in connection with processing a contract or billing, for marketing purposes, or when you have given us your prior permission. When processing an order, our partners (such as carriers, logistics providers and banks) receive only the data needed to carry out and process the order. Data we have passed on to our partners may be used only and exclusively to fulfil the assigned obligations.

To obtain this information, you can contact us by email or in writing. You can find our contact details on our website.
Use of data for advertising purposes
We use your data to continually develop and improve the shopping experience and to personalise it. For these purposes we use information that is already available, for example about your internet connection, the device and operating system you use, the date and time of your visit to the home page or the pages you browse, as well as information you have already given us. You may prohibit the use of your personal data at any time. Simply let us know by email or by post.

If you have signed up to receive our news (newsletters), we will send them regularly to the email address you provided. You can unsubscribe from the list at any time through your customer account.
Use of cookies
Our website uses cookies. For this website to work properly, and so that we can keep improving it to make your browsing experience better, this website needs to store a small amount of information (cookies) on your computer. This storage helps us set up and adapt our website to your needs, so that your individual entries are remembered and you do not have to repeat them every time. Your browser lets you choose certain settings for the use of cookies, but this may mean that our offer is no longer tailored to your needs. Cookies can also be deleted.
Temporary cookies
Temporary or session cookies are removed from your computer when you close your internet browser.
Persistent cookies
Persistent or stored cookies remain on your computer after you close your internet browser. For convenience, their expiry date is set in the future. Websites use them to store data such as your login name and password, and to recognise you, your preferences and your previous settings.
To view and adjust your cookie settings, see the help section of your browser.
Web tracking tools
For advertising and banners we use the services of third parties. This is usually done through cookies or pixels. These promotional offers may be useful and interesting for you.
Google Analytics with the “anonymize IP” extension
This website uses Google Analytics for analysis. This is a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies. Information about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google complies with the “US-Safe-Harbor” data protection provisions and is registered in the “Safe Harbor” programme of the US Department of Commerce. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity and other data related to internet use for us. We also use pseudonymisation so that we can track the use of the website across all devices. Here, too, your data is not available to Google.
Google will pass this information on to third parties where permitted by law or where those third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data. You can prevent cookies from being installed by choosing the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that in that case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website in full.
If you do not want information about your visits to our website to be available to Google Analytics, you can install the “opt-out add-on” for your internet browser. We have set Google Analytics to delete the last part of the IP address of visitors to our website. This means that we, too, cannot obtain data that could lead us to you.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting and storing data at any time by downloading a browser add-on that lets you deactivate Google Analytics.
More information is available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de and at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de (general information on Google Analytics and data protection). Please note that on this website the Google Analytics code has been extended with “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
Google Remarketing
This website uses Google Remarketing, an advertising service owned by Google Inc. (Google). Google and third parties place ads on websites on the internet, using cookies to track previous visits to our website. Google does not associate your IP address with other data it holds without your permission. You can deactivate the use of cookies by changing certain settings in your browser: go to https://www.google.de/policies/technologies/ads/ and turn on “opt-out”. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of third-party cookies on the deactivation page https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/. More information on Google’s policies is available at www.google.com/intl/de/privacy.
Use of Facebook social plugins
This website uses social plugins of the Facebook social network, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are marked with the Facebook logo or the words “Facebook Social Plugin”. An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance is available at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins
When you visit one of our pages that contains such a plugin, your browser connects to Facebook’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the web page.
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives information that your browser has opened a particular page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not logged in to it at the time. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to a Facebook profile, Facebook may link your visit to our website with your Facebook profile. If you interact with a plugin, for example by clicking “Like” or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is also sent directly to a Facebook server and stored there. This information is published on Facebook and is visible to your Facebook friends.
Facebook may use this information for advertising, market research and to design its pages. For this purpose, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles in order to evaluate the use of our website with regard to the ads shown on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide other services related to the use of Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to link the data collected through our website with your Facebook profile, you must log out of your Facebook profile before visiting our website.
The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as information about your rights and the privacy settings available to you, can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php
Use of YouTube plugins
Our website contains embedded videos from the YouTube portal, which is owned by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). When you watch a video, a connection is made to the servers of YouTube or Google, which tells those servers which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account at the time, YouTube automatically assigns this information to your user account. The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google or YouTube, as well as information about your rights and the privacy settings available to you, can be found at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. If you do not want Google or YouTube to link the data they obtain through our website with your profile, you can also prevent Google plugins from loading in your browser, for example by blocking scripts with “NoScript” (https://noscript.net/).
Data security
Your payment details are sent over a secure (encrypted) internet connection during the ordering process. We protect our website and other systems with technical and organisational measures against the loss, destruction, access, alteration and distribution of your data by unauthorised persons. You should always keep your personal banking details safe and close your browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if the computer is used by several people.
We store the text of the contract and send you the order details and our terms of business by email. You can find our terms of business on our website. You can check your order history in your user profile at any time.
