Steam bath
Warm, humid steam beneath a starry ceiling, among columns and blue mosaic.
Steam, mosaic and a starry sky.
The steam bath is a room filled with warm steam: the temperature is lower than in a sauna and the air is almost completely saturated with moisture. The steam wraps around the body, relaxes the muscles and is kind to the skin and the airways.
The benches and walls are covered in blue mosaic, and the space is divided by columns and arched windows. Above it all is a ceiling of glowing stars – as if you were bathing under the night sky.
Between two rounds in the steam bath, stop by the scrub room: the heat and steam prepare your skin for the scrub.

Tips
How to use the sauna
Shower first
Before you first go in, take a shower and dry yourself well – dry skin warms up faster and sweats more easily.
Warm up
Sit or lie on a towel and stay for eight to fifteen minutes – or less, as soon as it becomes uncomfortable. Heat is not something to endure.
Cool down
Breathe in some fresh air, then cool down gradually under the cooling shower, from your feet towards your heart.
Rest
Rest for at least as long as you were in the sauna, and drink water or tea. Two to three rounds are quite enough.
Do not use the sauna straight after a heavy meal or with alcohol. If you have health problems – especially with your heart or blood pressure – or are pregnant, consult your doctor before using the sauna.
